The Sadowski SMX21VJ features an Okoume body, a bolt-on roasted maple neck (C-profile), and a Morado fingerboard (21 fretboard markers, 34" scale length, 12" radius). This combination produces a rich tone with clarity, bite, and dynamics. The lows are warm, the mids are full, and the highs are bright.

Used for decades in the maritime and aerospace industries, Okoume (native to West Africa) is a wood of choice for electric guitars (John Suhr has used it for many years).
This lightweight, low-density wood can be considered a high-quality mahogany with more pronounced high frequencies and an extended dynamic range, enhancing the instrument’s clarity.

Morado (Pau Ferro), which makes up the fingerboard, is a wood sourced from the forests of Brazil and Bolivia. Its high density produces a tone that is a hybrid between rosewood and maple. Its very pleasant feel is undeniably reminiscent of ebony.
