At the crossroads between a Fender© Jazz Bass© and a Music Man© Stingray©, it offers a wide variety of tones ranging from traditional to modern, thanks in particular to its switchable active/passive electronics.
The body of the California TM SL Superlight is made of Paulownia, a particularly lightweight wood with characteristics similar to those of ash.
