The Shure MV6 Gen 2 is a dynamic USB microphone designed for gamers, streamers, content creators, and users looking for clear voice reproduction without complex setup. Drawing on Shure’s expertise and iconic models such as the SM7 and MV7, it combines a dynamic cardioid capsule with digital audio processing built directly into the microphone.

Its cardioid polar pattern prioritizes the voice picked up from the front while reducing sounds coming from the sides and rear. Combined with Voice Isolation technology, it better isolates the voice from ambient noise, delivering more accurate sound during streaming, gaming, calls, or recordings.

The MV6 Gen 2 features several DSP processing functions built directly into the microphone. Auto Level mode automatically adjusts the voice level and can be customized with a gain threshold and response time tailored to the application. The Real-time Denoiser reduces ambient noise in real time with adjustable intensity, while the Digital Popper Stopper™ digitally suppresses plosive sounds without requiring an external pop filter.

A 5-band equalizer allows you to precisely adjust the tonal character of the voice, with the option to emphasize a warmer, more natural, or brighter sound. Three presets are also available: Speech, Singing, and Instrument, each optimized for a specific use.

Thanks to its Plug-and-Play USB-C connection, the MV6 Gen 2 works with PCs and Macs as well as compatible iOS and Android devices, without requiring any additional drivers. Its 24-bit/48 kHz digital conversion ensures detailed sound reproduction suitable for streaming, communication, and recording.

The microphone also features a 3.5 mm headphone output that allows for direct, latency-free monitoring of the microphone signal and system audio. A touch-sensitive button on the top allows you to instantly mute the microphone without an audible click. This control can also be disabled via the Shure MOTIV apps to prevent accidental muting.

The MV6 Gen 2 works with the Shure MOTIV Mix, MOTIV Audio, and MOTIV Video apps, which provide access to DSP settings, EQ, level control, noise reduction, and presets from a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Shipped with a desktop stand featuring an isolating base and a USB-C to USB-C cable, the Shure MV6 Gen 2 is a complete, out-of-the-box solution for improving voice quality in streaming, gaming, video conferencing, and content creation.
