While it retains the fundamentals (alder body, screw-in maple neck, 34" scale), it excels in terms of price/performance ratio.

The luthiery combines an American Alder body, a torrefied Maple screw neck and an Ebony fingerboard. A positively traditional, timeless platform. It generates a full, dynamic acoustic base, with dense lows and mids, and clear highs.
The Ebony fingerboard significantly and musically compresses the sound, a parameter that may prove interesting in certain musical contexts.
In addition to giving the wood an elegant patina, the torrefaction process improves the instrument's stability, sustain, clarity and resonance, while protecting it from thermal variations, humidity and mildew.

While its lutherie is fundamentally vintage, its pickups and Marcus Miller Heritage-3 circuit make it an exemplary modern model of flexibility.
