Soundcraft Si Performer 2
The SI Performer 2 is a 24 fader digital console.
Combining the best of Soundcraft digital mixing technology with a DMX512 controller, the Si Performer is the first digital audio console capable of controlling a lighting system in addition to a lighting system. In the event and entertainment industry, audio and lighting have always been partners. Until now, even the simplest audio and lighting system required two separate control devices. Now, the Si Performer makes it possible to control sound and light from a single surface. Its integrated DMX interface allows the console's faders and automation to be used to control a basic lighting system, ideal for events and shows in schools, places of worship, theatres, conferences and more.
The Si Performer is also an extremely powerful compact digital audio console. It integrates the most advanced digital mixing technologies with an extremely intuitive control interface, allowing immediate action on all the console's parameters without having to go through complex menus and screens. It's compatible with Soundcraft ViSi Remote software, making it possible to control the console through multiple iPads, allowing performers on stage to mix their own stage feedback.
The Si Performer 2 features 24 mic preamps (32 for the Si Performer 3) plus 8 stereo returns, an AES input/output, 16 balanced analog outputs, a 64x64 expansion slot and a second 64x32 expansion slot allowing each of their 64 inputs to be assigned to the 80 internal mixing channels. Each internal mix channel has a high-pass filter, input delay, compressor/gate and 4-band parametric equalizer.
With its 8 VCA busses, 8 mute groups, Faderglow fader coloring and a new mini backlit color display on each track showing channel name and other useful parameters, you're never lost.
The Si Performer offers 14 aux busses or groups that can be configured as 14 mono or 8 mono and 6 stereo sends, while the matrixes can be configured as mono or stereo as required. In addition to the aux and matrix busses, 4 busses are dedicated to the sends to the 4 integrated lexicon effects, plus the general left, right and center busses with their L/R + mono/center or LCR mixing options. Each bus has a compressor, a 4-band parametric equalizer, a graphic equalizer and a delay.
It features four Lexicon stereo effects processors with the same technology as the popular MX400, offering a wide range of customizable effects with their own tap-tempo. Since these effects processors use their own Lexicon dsp, the console's internal processing is fully available for slice and send processing.
The Si Performer integrates easily into any type of audio environment thanks to its 2 expansion slots, allowing it to receive cards in MADI cat5 and optical, Aviom, Cobranet and AES/EBU formats. They facilitate the connection of external recording systems or plug-ins, not forgetting stage racks.
- D.O.G.S. (Direct Out Gain Stabiliser) - Compensates for the direct output level when input gain changes, perfect when two consoles share the same stage rack, or for multitrack recording.
- DMX interface: sound and light control from the same surface -Security lock with different user profiles -Assignable faders on all 4 layers -Copy/paste of all channel parameters, individually or as a whole.
-TOTEM™ (The One Touch Easy Mix): a single key gives immediate access to the mix of sends, effects and matrixes thanks to instant reconfiguration of the entire control surface. -31-band BSS graphic equalizers on each bus
- 1 control = 1 function, for immediate handling without complex navigation. -Global mode: an assignable encoder line above the faders allows control of all gains, pans and high-pass filters of the input channels.
- Soundcraft FaderGlow®: this process colors the faders according to their attributes (stereo effect return, stereo link, graphic corrector, pre or post fader, etc.).
- Focus function: allows instant indication on the LCD display of the absolute value of the parameter being edited.
