Soyuz microphones Lakeside Preamp
The Soyuz Lakeside is a Class A, single-channel microphone and instrument preamplifier designed to add character, depth, and harmonic richness to recordings.
Its fully discrete circuitry and custom-wound input and output transformers allow it to combine excellent headroom with distinctive musical coloration. It can deliver a clean, detailed signal or be driven harder to achieve dynamic saturation and more pronounced harmonics.
The Lakeside offers up to 60 dB of gain, adjustable in 5 dB steps, along with an output level control that allows for precise adjustment of the coloration generated by the circuit.
Its high-pass filter utilizes an inductor-based circuit and offers ten cutoff frequencies ranging from 40 to 330 Hz. With an 18 dB/octave slope, it enables precise control of the low-end spectrum while maintaining a musical response.
A high-impedance DI instrument input (1/4" jack) is built directly into the front panel, allowing for the connection of guitars, basses, synthesizers, drum machines, and other instrument-level sources.
The Lakeside also features switchable +48V phantom power and polarity reversal, making it easy to integrate into a professional recording signal chain.
Highly versatile, it is suitable for vocals, guitars, drums, and both acoustic and electronic instruments. It can also be used to run tracks, stems, or even a full mix through its circuitry to add warmth, character, and cohesion. Key Features
