The SQUIER FSR Classic Vibe™ 60s Jazzmaster solidbody electric guitar (0374083966) was imagined for vintage Fender enthusiasts who lack the finances to acquire an American model.
It's a seductive reinterpretation of the original Jazzmaster from the early 1960s. It combines traditional and contemporary features.
Poplar body, Laurier fingerboard, C-shaped neck profile, modern 9.5" radius, 22 frets, Fender Designed Alnico pickups, simplified control circuit (volume, tone, three-position selector).

The body is made of Poplar, a wood species considered an alternative to Alder.
Widely available and inexpensive, Poplar is therefore often used to build entry-level and mid-range instruments.

The laurel of which the fingerboard is made is an excellent alternative to rosewood. With superior density and stability, its acoustic performance is comparable to that of Brazilian Rosewood.
