Strymon Canoga Vintage Silicon Fuzz
The STRYMON Canoga Vintage Silicon Fuzz pedal features a 100% analog circuit with no digital processing. It is an optimized version of an older circuit design created by Strymon a few years ago, and its connection to Fuzz Face-style silicon fuzz pedals is clear.
Although simple to use, the Canoga interacts impressively with your guitar’s volume knob and your amplifier.
With the Drive and Level controls turned all the way up and the guitar volume at maximum, the fuzz sounds at its full potential—ideal for indie, grunge, sludge, and doom styles.
By turning down the guitar’s volume, you can achieve a wide range of crunchy tones perfect for Pop, Americana, or Rock-Blues. The sound retains superb clarity in the high frequencies.
Its character is unmistakably vintage, with a dense, rich texture, beautiful harmonics, very natural and musical compression, and plenty of responsiveness.
In the tradition of the best fuzz pedals, the Strymon Canoga delivers its full potential when connected to a tube amp that’s already slightly overdriven. Think of Jimi Hendrix and other legendary guitarists from the 1960s and 1970s.
