The Suhr Badger is a single-channel amplifier that dynamically interacts with your guitar’s volume control, adapting to your playing style. Thanks to its cathode-biased power section, it delivers dynamic and responsive tones, while requiring no bias adjustment when replacing the power tubes.

Scalable Power for Optimal Sound

The Power Scaling system delivers the tonal response of a high-power amp at reasonable volumes. By adjusting the power section’s voltage, you can reduce the amount of signal processed before the amp saturates, without compromising sound quality.

• POWER: Adjusts the amplifier’s voltage for a rich sound even at low volumes.


• DRIVE: Controls the input to the power section, functioning as a master volume when Power is set to 10.

Flexible Controls for a Custom Sound

The gain control offers a wide range of tones by adjusting two gain stages simultaneously. The tone controls (Bass, Mid, Treble) are post-gain to allow for precise adjustments, with guidelines for an optimal setting that preserves bass clarity.
