Tokai Gakki Co., Ltd. is a japanese brand founded in 1947. It is famous for its tremendous replicas of Martin, Fender and Gibson replicas built as early as the middle of the sixties. If a partnership was possible with Martin or Fender, it was more prblematic with Gibson. Tokai's Les Paul ("Love Rock Model", "Les Paul Reborn") built between 1978 and 1980 where so amazing that Gibson decided to file a lawsuit. The reason why these models are called "Lawsuit Guitars".
