Under the hood, the MODX M8 features three complementary sound engines:
AWM2, for detailed and realistic acoustic sounds, with 128 voices of polyphony and 10.7 GB of internal waveforms.
FM-X, which leverages 8-operator FM synthesis for rich and complex harmonic textures.
AN-X, which recreates the warmth and power of analog synthesizers thanks to three oscillators and a noise generator.
These three engines work in perfect synergy thanks to the Motion Control Synthesis Engine, which synchronizes filters, envelopes, and modulations for highly precise real-time control.
The MODX M8 features a 7-inch TFT color touchscreen, a clear and intuitive interface, and expressive physical controllers: Super Knob, eight illuminated faders, assignable potentiometers, and eight Scene Switches. This seamless design allows for instant navigation and total control over the sound.
With its 3,427 built-in performances, 10,922 arpeggios, and 256 pre-programmed Live Sets, the MODX M8 offers a huge, ready-to-use sound library. The 16-track sequencer and multiple built-in effects (reverb, EQ, inserts, masters) make it a true mobile studio.
The MODX M8 integrates seamlessly into your digital environment via multi-channel USB and MIDI 2.0. The included Cubase AI software lets you record, edit, and mix your compositions, while the ESP (Expanded Softsynth Plugin) replicates the synthesizer as a full software version in your DAW, for seamless performance between stage and studio.
