The P-S500 features 660 high-quality tones including superb piano, electric piano, organ, brass, string, percussion and more. From the amazing sounds of saxophones to exceptional guitars, the P-S500 reproduces all the subtleties of these instruments. Thanks to the renowned Super Articulation technology, the distinctive characteristics of each instrument are automatically reproduced in incredible detail while you play.
The automatic accompaniments (called "Styles") cover a wide range of musical styles, including pop, jazz, and more, allowing you to be the leader of a band or philharmonic orchestra, even if you're alone at your instrument.
The P-S500 allows you to record your own performances in two different formats: audio and MIDI. Audio recording allows you to simply capture your performance and then listen to it on your smartphone or tablet. MIDI recording allows you to record up to 16 tracks, with separate left and right hand parts or complex multi-instrument arrangements.
With the ability to connect a microphone, and the on-screen display of a song's lyrics, you can sing along with the keyboard or enjoy a song playing. In addition, you can apply various studio-quality effects to your voice. You can also cancel or fade out the vocal part on audio recordings, allowing you to sing along with (or instead of!) your favourite artists and bands, for even more fun.
