Audient Horizon 16

The Audient Horizon 16 is a Thunderbolt 3 audio interface designed to serve as the true heart of a hybrid studio. With 34 inputs and 34 outputs—including 16 line inputs and 16 line outputs on four DB25 connectors—it allows you to keep compressors, equalizers, external processors, and summing systems permanently connected, without having to reconfigure the wiring between each session.

Its 32-bit/192 kHz conversion, combined with a dynamic range of 133 dB, ensures accurate and transparent signal reproduction. With a claimed round-trip latency of just 0.99 ms at 192 kHz using a 64-sample buffer, the Horizon 16 offers excellent responsiveness for recording, monitoring, and using native plug-ins.

A dedicated stereo path to the mix bus allows you to record the final mix directly into your DAW without tying up the main line inputs. The stereo monitoring outputs also have their own dedicated path to maintain an independent reference listen.

The interface can also be expanded via its dual ADAT input/output, offering up to 16 additional digital channels. The Horizon Control software centralizes routing, monitoring, and level management, with a virtual patchbay, comfort reverb, and built-in metering tools.

Designed to keep pace with the evolution of professional studios, the Horizon 16 allows up to four Horizon interfaces to be daisy-chained to a single driver, creating a system with up to 200 inputs and 200 outputs.
