Esi audio Amber i4
The Amber i4 is a USB audio interface designed for musicians, producers, and creators who need a powerful tool capable of handling multiple sources simultaneously. With its four balanced inputs and four balanced outputs, it offers great flexibility for assembling advanced setups: microphones, guitars, synthesizers, electronic instruments, or monitoring systems. It quickly becomes the nerve center of a modern home studio, while remaining simple and intuitive to use.
Its two Class A microphone preamps ensure a clean, precise, and quiet signal, even with microphones requiring high gain. The +48V phantom power can be switched on independently to protect sensitive equipment. The integrated Hi-Z inputs allow you to connect a guitar or bass directly without an external DI box, for a natural and faithful sound.
The Advanced Direct Monitoring (ADM) system is one of this interface's major strengths: it allows for precise balancing of the direct signal and the DAW's return signal, guaranteeing completely smooth and latency-free monitoring—ideal for vocal recordings, acoustic instruments, or multi-instrumental sessions. The two independent headphone outputs, each with its own volume control, facilitate duo recordings or collaborative sessions.
Thanks to its bidirectional MIDI ports, the Amber i4 also integrates seamlessly into a hybrid setup combining hardware synthesizers, drum machines, and external controllers. Compatible with Mac and Windows, it operates via USB-C or USB 2.0. No drivers are required on macOS, while an ultra-stable and optimized ASIO driver is provided for Windows to ensure minimal latency and maximum performance.
Robust, compact, and protected by a durable metal chassis, the Amber i4 is designed to accompany creators both in the studio and on the go. Its clear LCD screen makes adjusting levels simple and immediate. To top it all off, it comes with a professional software suite including Bitwig 8-Track, WaveLab LE, Cubasis LE and 3 months of access to JackTrip Virtual Studio — a true turnkey solution for recording, editing, mixing and distributing your productions from the very first connection.
