Esi audio U108 PRE
The U108 PRE is an audio interface offered by the ESI Audio brand.
U108 PRE is a special USB audio recording interface offering a solution to a very basic requirement: connecting a large number of professional microphones for simultaneous multi-channel recording.
The U108 PRE offers a total of 10 high-quality professional mic preamps. Two XLR connectors are located on the front panel, the others on the rear panel of the device. For all separate preamps, +48V phantom power can be activated if necessary and the input level can be adjusted separately for each channel. The input level is also displayed via LEDs on the front panel. Of course, you can use all input channels simultaneously. Additionally, there are two Hi-Z instrument inputs that can be used alternately for electric guitars. For playback, 8 independent line outputs and a separate mix output (via the built-in monitor mixer) are provided.
The U108 PRE is equipped with drivers operating at very low latency - with support for WDM, ASIO 2.0 and CoreAudio, based on our EWDM and DirectWIRE technology. This means that the unit can be used with all common applications on Mac and PC. With the included software, you can start using it straight away and start working right out of the box.
