Meticulously crafted in the Warwick workshops in Germany, the magnificent five-string SADOWSKY MetroLine 21-Fret Vintage J/J Bass, Swamp Ash Body, 5-String (SML21VJ5 32 ASH FR) perfectly reinterprets a classic American solid-body electric bass.
The SML21VJ5 Ash features a “Swamp Ash” body, a bolt-on maple neck, and a maple fingerboard (set with 21 frets).
This traditional combination of woods produces a tone that is both full-bodied and responsive, dense and precise, with dynamic lows, balanced mids, and crystalline highs.
The Vintage J/J Bass is extremely versatile thanks to a pair of Sadowski hum-canceling J-style pickups (Jazz Bass© type) and custom active electronics.
The VTC (Vintage Tone Control) filter effectively complements the traditional bass and treble controls by attenuating high frequencies and giving your tones an authentic vintage character (much as if the bass were passive).
