Meticulously crafted in Germany at the Warwick workshops, the SADOWSKY MetroLine 24-Fret Vintage J/J Bass, Red Alder Body, 4-String (SML24VJ4 23 ALD FR) perfectly reimagines a classic American solid-body electric bass.
The SML24VJ ALD features an American alder body, a bolt-on maple neck, and a Morado fingerboard (set with 21 frets). This traditional design produces a well-balanced, dense, and responsive acoustic foundation, with thick, punchy lows, present mids, and dynamic, clear highs.
The Morado (Pau Ferro) used for the fingerboard is a wood sourced from Brazilian and Bolivian forests. Its high density produces a tone that’s a hybrid between rosewood and maple. Its very pleasant feel is undeniably reminiscent of ebony.
The Metroline Vintage J/J Bass features custom active electronics. The VTC (Vintage Tone Control) filter effectively complements the traditional bass and treble controls by attenuating high frequencies and giving your tones an authentic vintage character (much as if the bass were passive).
