The Revolution 6x6 is designed to be the heart of your studio. It will serve as a master clock, a standalone digital audio converter, and a natively supported 6 I/O USB interface, with audio quality worthy of the Revolution name. The Revolution 6x6 is a native USB bus-powered USB audio interface that delivers excellent signal quality thanks to Black Lion's years of experience modifying audio interfaces. Record any mic, line or instrument signal with the balanced XLR inputs. Connect professional studio monitors or use its two powerful headphone outputs for clear, mono-switchable output with direct control of the latency-free monitoring mix. Integrate external equipment via S/PDIF and USB OTG connection.

We've built into the Revolution 6x6 everything we've learned about interfaces over our years of modifying... as we like to say, it's modified from the factory to produce the best sound. The Revolution 6x6 is equipped with a Macro-MMC clock for maximum conversion quality, minimal jitter, beautiful harmonics for perfectly detailed and crystal clear highs. Exclusive PG-i filtering technology and highly filtered power rails are combined with full-circuit power decoupling to further reduce possible noise contamination from external devices. For optimal capture and playback, the Revolution 6x6 uses high-end integrated circuits and Vishay, Nichicon and Wima capacitors, with internal gain optimized to ensure the best signal-to-noise ratio. Finally, all analog I/O is fully decoupled and balanced - right down to the very heart of the converter!

Standalone mode for using the DAC and ADC.

Not all studio tasks require a computer. The Revolution 6x6's DAC, word clock and D/A conversion functions can all be used without a computer; just press and hold the “Standalone” button. Plug in your media player via S/PDIF and enjoy classic hi-fi listening with the latest generation of high-end conversion, or add two additional output channels from another audio interface or mixer digital. Many MPCs, synthesizers and guitar processors also feature S/PDIF, which often results in better sound than using their own converters.

For recording, connect any guitar processor with an S/PDIF output and enjoy high-quality D/A conversion for your guitars. You can also connect the Revolution 6x6 to your computer via USB for hi-fi listening, bypassing the converters on your old laptop. Use S/PDIF to add two channels to an audio interface or digital mixer, all synchronized by the same master clock via BNC. As a standalone A/D converter, you add two superior channels of Black Lion-converted audio via S/PDIF to your existing recording setup.

Be mobile with USB On-The-Go.

USB On-The-Go connectivity gives the Revolution 6x6 2-in, 2-out connectivity with Android and Apple mobile devices. It's ideal for livestreamers and mobile musicians who record or stream from phones and tablets. Connect two USB devices to the Revolution 6x6 simultaneously and send audio to and from either. Record from your phone to your laptop, or stream a performance to iPad from your phone...the possibilities are endless!

An amazing clock.

The Revolution 6x6's Macro-MMC (Master Music Clock) was developed from our experience creating dedicated clocks, as well as modifying many clocks built into other recording interfaces. The Macro-MMC ensures the best possible performance from its converters, but also allows you to connect external devices via the BNC connections for maximum synchronization and ultra-low jitter - meaning all devices synchronized via the Macro-MMC communicate as accurately as possible to minimize phase distortions that can muddy your highs and transients. If you've already invested in a clock you love, that's great - the Revolution 6x6 can be synced to this clock.
