The MARKBASS MB PB (MBB148064C) is a superbly crafted consumer-market version of the very first solid-body electric bass designed by Léo F. in the 1950s.
Manufactured in Asia, it is inspected at the company’s Italian workshops before being shipped to retailers.
Easy to play with a compact neck profile, it’s ideal for beginners but may also appeal to more experienced musicians looking for a high-quality, traditional backup instrument.

The MB PB’s construction features a poplar body, a bolt-on maple neck, and an Indian laurel fingerboard (set with 20 frets). This design produces a consistent, dense, and responsive acoustic foundation, with thick, punchy bass, present mids, and dynamic, clear highs.
